I’m so freakin' happy to share that Optise is officially live.

Our goal is to make it easy for busy B2B teams drowning in data to make their website discoverable, engaging, and actually sell more.

I started my career as a marketing specialist punching bag and worked my way up to CMO for one of the leading SaaS companies in Iceland. Since then I've been in B2B for over 15 years in every role imaginable and even ran a B2B agency where I worked with over a 100 B2B teams.

I've loved every minute of it.

What I’ve learned is that for most B2B companies, 99% of leads and sales come through the website. However, it’s just incredibly difficult to make your website get found on search engines like Google, AI engines like ChatGPT, get people to love your content, and most importantly, click your buttons and turn into leads and customers.

I’ve tried all the tools out there like Google Analytics, Semrush, Hotjar, Siteimprove, Matomo, Simplemetrics, Adobe and maybe I'm just a simple man but they all feel like a nightmare.

Clunky, confusing, and they don’t guide you at all. I don't have time to live in there. I also tried working with multiple Web CRO agencies, but that’s just super expensive, time-consuming and not sustainable.

I want control over my website.

Icelandic Startup Optise Targets USD 20 Billion B2B Website Waste with Automated AI Engine

Reykjavík, Iceland – October 8, 2025 – Optise (www.optise.com), the Icelandic-born startup focused on optimizing online sales for B2B companies, today officially launched the world’s first AI-powered B2B website insights platform.

According to Forrester, B2B teams typically allocate 8% of their revenue to marketing.   A meaningful proportion of this is being spent just to keep websites running.  Optise estimates that companies pay external agencies up to USD 10,000 per month for maintenance and upkeep services such as SEO/CRO, content creation, development and reporting.  Globally, recent industry research indicates spending on external digital marketing services will total around USD 20.44 billion in 2025.

More often than not, however, this investment is wasted, with most websites invisible in search, unengaging for visitors and rarely optimized to maximize revenue.  A high-performing digital presence is increasingly important given the impact of Millennial and Gen Z buyers using AI engines. AI-generated traffic already accounts for 2-6% of organic website visits and is growing at over 40% per month.

With today’s launch Optise is flipping the model.
